Indie rock pioneer Kristin Hersh of Throwing Muses fame resurfaces with ongoing music project 50FOOTWAVE.

Iconic indie rocker Kristin Hersh of Throwing Muses has resurfaced again with the ongoing music project 50FOOTWAVE.  The L.A.-based power trio is comprised of Hersh, Bernard Georges (also of Throwing Muses), and dummer Rob Ahlers.

The act is making a big splash with its recent EP Bath White, out now on Happy Happy Birthday To Me Records.

Bath White is the band's 6th EP/mini-album since forming in 2004 and the 1st release since 2012’'s ‘With Love From The Men’s Room’. The new EP swims in complex song structures, catchy power chords, hard rock riffage, and Hersh's unvarnished emotive vocals.  The 6 songs on the EP, wihc are chock full of high-energy dynamics and driving rhythms, are powerful on several fronts, most notably due to Hersh's visceral vocals.

The EP was produced by Los Angeles producer Mudrock, best known for his work with Godsmack.

50FOOTWAVE is named after the lowest note audible to human ears and started out as an outlet for the noise/math rock material that didn’t quite fit the aesthetic of Throwing Muses or Hersh’'s solo endeavors.
