New Album, Lost Touch, Coming February 23 and Tour Begins Next Week

Victory Records’ latest signing, WE WERE SHARKS are premiering “Stay,” the second video behind their upcoming album, Lost Touch, set for release on February 23, 2018. The video lands just in time as the Canadian power punks pack their gear and hit the US next week to introduce new tracks from Lost Touch live for the very first time.

“It’s hard to be brave and want to break out and follow your passion,” admits guitarist Jason Mooney. “This song is about growing up surrounded by those who lived within their comfort zone. It’s easy for people to tell you that you are wrong because that’s the easy answer. You have to believe in yourself, and always stay true to yourself, because that’s what will make you stand out.”

“We are thrilled to bring the sweat and hijinks to the stage again!” Mooney adds. Next week, the Ottawa sextet will join label-mates CAROUSEL KINGS in LaCrosse, WI on December 7, and will slalom through the Midwest and East Coast before closing out the year with a hometown banger on December 22. WE WERE SHARKS recently celebrated their signing to Victory Records by supporting A Wilhelm Scream’s 10th Anniversary tour and plan to announce their 2018 plans very soon.

Pre-orders for the album are available in physical and digital formats and include an instant download of “Beyond Repair" and "Stay.”
