This is real PUNK ROCK!

I just want to start this review by saying that, Career Soldiers have made a great punk rock record with, "Loss Of Words." This is a perfect example of what punk should sound like. Fast and furious with blazing, inspired playing and singing.

It like Spinal Tap's manager was once quoted as saying, "Every song on this record is a hit." Well I don't know about Spinal Tap's record but I do know that Career Soldiers' "Loss Of Words" is pure punk rock gold. And yes every song on this record is a hit, whatever that means, but once you hear this record you'll know what I mean.

From the opening song, "This Generation" to the last track, "From The Heart," this record never let's up. And why should it? This is the real stuff!

This record got me through a tough rush hour commute one day and I was all the better for it. I laughed (that fuck you kind of laugh) and sang along, mostly with the chanting back-up vocals. I still haven't eaten enough barbed wire to keep up with lead singer, Jake's gravelly voice, but I'm working on it.

This is the kind of record that restores my faith in punk rock. All I can say is I that I hope that Career Soldiers do in fact make a career of their intense brand of punk. We could all us some real punk to kick start our day and "Loss Of Words" is at no loss for words, energy or forgiveness. Thanks guys! Keep 'em coming.
