ABOUT US

This site started out as a local scene page called SGVPunk.com back in 1999. We were and still are based in the San Gabriel Valley in Southern California. For those that aren't familiar that's not "The Valley" but just another valley about 30 miles east of L.A..

As the site grew and we began to come into contact with people all over the planet it seemed like a natural progression to broaden the scope from just our little sweaty armpit of Los Angeles. The name was soon changed from SGVPunk to Rebel Noise and a boundaryless online commUNITY was born.

After all these years we're still pluggin' away, sinking countless hours, dollars, blood, sweat & tears into this labor of love without a profit in sight. As you can imagine there has been a rotating cast of dedicated music freaks involved with the site throughout it's existance.
