The SoCal hardcore/alternative rock band unleashes a relentless, cathartic single from their upcoming EP.

Los Angeles/Orange County-located hardcore/alt-rock band Fake Figures just released their latest rager, “Hole In The Sky”.  The relentless track is from their upcoming third EP currently in production with Kris Comeaux (Assuming We Survive, Lorene Drive, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus).

Founded in 2011, Fake Figures is the project of Atreyu guitarist Travis Miguel and features current/former members of Scars of Tomorrow, Hotwire, and Nations Afire.  Their mission is to blend elements of metal, rock, and punk into their signature uncompromising sound.

Rebel Noise is excited to premiere the pummeling and churning hardcore assault of “Hole In The Sky” which slices with razor-sharp guitars and dices with on-the edge, exclaimed vocals.  Though raw and cathartic, “Hole In The Sky” still retains a keen sense of melody.

Vocalist Rus Martin reveals, I remember hearing the demo of this track for the first time I thought I could hear Tom Araya singing on those verses... I tried to emulate that tone and meter he uses for those verses. Everything else was just a happy accident.”

Fake Figures have some dates lined up with Will Haven:

Saturday May 5th - San Diego, CA at Brick by Brick (w/ Will Haven)
Sunday May 6th - Hollywood, CA at Viper Room (w/ Will Haven)
