Director Jai Al-Attas tackles the rise of punk from the underground to mainstream prominence in the last decade in his One Nine Nine Four. Narrated by professional skateboarder Tony Hawk, the film talks with members of Green Day, Blink 182, Rancid and The Offspring, among others as it looks at the scene's massive growth in popularity following the 1994 death of Nirvana's Kurt Cobain. No release date for the film's been decided upon, though producers hope to see it out sometime this year.
