Although the upcoming Libertines reunion shows are certain to keep singer/guitarist Carl Barat busy this summer, he has a couple other projects cooking.
Carl BaratBarat revealed this autumn will see the release of his first solo album as well as a book of memoirs. Barat's yet to reveal the title of either, but expects both to turn up in British stores in October when the Libertines' reunion gigs are behind him.
Barat also revealed he's polishing up a five-piece band to take on tour with him to support the solo album. It'll tackle a set list of new and old tunes.
