After being overlooked by the selection committee six previous times, Iggy and the boys are finally on their way to be enshrined in Cleveland's Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Also joining the proto-punk band are Jimmy Cliff, The Hollies, Abba and Genesis.
The Stooges will play a set at the Hall's March 15 induction ceremony to commemorate their induction.
