Stooges Make It To The Rock ‘n Roll Hall Of Fame
Ohio-based Rock
The full 2009 class list is: Jeff Beck, Chic, Wanda Jackson, Little Anthony and the Imperials, Metallica, Run-D.M.C., The Stooges, War, and Bobby Womack. To be eligible for induction, an act must have released a single or album at least 25 years prior to the year before their nomination. Hard to believe it's been that long since Metallica's "Kill 'em All" was released but it was 1983.
