Sonic Fuel explode on a socially relevant track that attacks those who abuse power/money.

Knoxville, Tennessee-located heavy and melodic alternative rockers Sonic Fuel have unleashed “Karma,” a fiery and driving new stand-alone single and its accompanying video.

The cathartic “Karma” is the third single from the hard-rocking band. It follows up determinedly uplifting debut tune “I Will Rise” and second single “Scream,” which tackles social injustice.

David Hales (vocals, rhythm guitar) formed the group in 2019 and is joined by Burton Akers on bass, Chris Robbins on drums, and guest guitarist Damon Johnson (Alice Cooper, Thin Lizzy, Brother Cane).

Sonic Fuel aren’t afraid to confront current hot-topic issues, and they continue to do so on “Karma,” where they attack those who hold powerful positions and/or those who are rich who abuse or otherwise exploit others who are less fortunate.

The outfit plow right into the heart of gritty, angst-riddled, but tuneful ‘90s alt-rock with “Karma.” It’s a non-stop relentless ride of blazing guitar burn, low-end bass churn, emphatic drum strikes, and defiantly passionate vocals.

Amid the sonic whirlwind, the relevant lyrics stand out:

“With all your lies / you’re tearin’ everybody down / with conflict all around / Karma’s gonna find you.”
