East Coast Aussie pop-punk tribe announce their upcoming EP, Time & Place set for release May 29th.

From the sun-drenched Gold Coast of Eastern Australia comes your dose of reality. Fake News.

The melodic punk crew are back with their first new music of 2024, with the honest and moreish "Moving On".

The band have also announced upcoming EP Time & Place set for release on May 29th, 2024.

Blasting through your speakers with a fist-pumping blend of catchy hooks, punchy lyricism and exhilarating riffs, Gold Coast quintet Fake News have honed an unabashed and expressive brand of modern punk rock.

The Queensland outfit have cut their teeth supporting some of punk's iconic names, from Lagwagon to Pennywise, Darko to A Wilhelm Scream and their star continued to rise with the release of 2021 debut LP Everyday Warrior.

The record documents the highs and lows of modern life with a relatable narrative and an unerringly grounded delivery. Lead single "Checking In" and boisterous anthem "Broken Bones" led the way, with contemporary pop-punk intertwining with nods to some of the 90's finest purveyors of the genre.

2023 EP Take Me Away was a fitting follow up, as the band continued to fine tune their infectious combination of urgent and melodic, winning over alternative music fans the width and breadth of Australia and beyond.

New single, "Moving On" is adorned with punk rock nostalgia, but awash with freshness, as the band tackle issues of overcoming adversity through positivity, and seeing past the difficulties in our lives. The track is taken from Time & Place, set for release on May 29th.
