LET THEM KNOW: THE STORY OF YOUTH BRIGADE AND BYO RECORDS OUT TODAY! The long awaited boxed set is now available.

The boxed set is a self-contained triple-threat, engaging fans through audio, visual and written components. Included is a 90-minute documentary DVD feature which chronicles their part in the Southern California independent punk scene. It is a unique take on the history of punk rock in Southern California that bridges the early pioneers with the scene's huge breakthrough in 1994 to those still smashing things up in 2009 and beyond! The double LP audio compilation features 31-tracks from some of the best to have come from the punk scene (NOFX, Dropkick Murphys, Pennywise, 7 Seconds, The Bouncing Souls, Anti-Flag, The Briefs, Lagwagon, Youth Brigade) along with many of today's up-and-coming bands, all covering songs from BYO's extensive catalog. Finally, the full-color, hardcover coffee table companion book uses the written word to expand on this story. This boxed set celebrates the landmark of over 25 years for Youth Brigade, BYO Records and the Stern Brothers and reveals this too-often overlooked chapter in the rise of independent music specific to Los Angeles, which continues to be the epicenter of punk rock.

The nice folks at spinner.com are hosting an exclusive listening party of 31-track compilation that is included as part of package. Head over and give it a whirl!
