Unlike what the 1990’s music trends and industry dictatorship tried to establish, Rock n Roll doesn’t have to be self-pitiful, innocent and pale and Lisbon-based group Affäire wants to prove that with their sleazy and incendiary 80’s hard rock sound.

It was the Portuguese rock and metal scene spearheaded by bands like Attick Demons, Dawnrider, Divine Lust or Iberia that influenced these four rascals to pick up their instruments and churn an infectious and heavy rock sound in the vein of WASP, Mötley Crüe, Alice Cooper and L.A. Guns.

The group formed in late 2011 and that same year released their first effort, a single titled single “Born Too Late”. The following couple of years were marked by various live appearances, including supporting slots to Paul Di Anno and House Of Lords, as well as a new single titled "Highway Affair".

In 2015, Affäir finally released their debut full-length "At First Sight" through US label Demon Doll Records. Mastered at “The Groove Room” in San Rafael, California by Davy Vain, the album garnered some enthusiastic reactions and allowed the group to tour throughout Portugal and Spain.

Now two years later, the four-piece group return with a new EP titled “Neon Gods” that includes four new songs and a cover version of The Beatles’ “I Saw Her Standing There”. Expect nothing but heavy, dangerous and high-fuelled heavy-rock that will surely surprise fans of WASP, Vain, Mötley Crüe, Guns n Roses and L.A. Guns.
