Weekend Recovery release ‘Esoteric’ the full album movie. With a runtime of 46 minutes, the film is written and created by Sheffield front woman Lori Forster, immersing the viewer in an intergalactic voyage through the band’s critically acclaimed third record.

On release the album hit 3 Official UK Charts, including Number 10 in the Independent Album Breaker's Chart, with tracks featuring on BBC R1, Radio X Playlist, 6 Music, Amazing Radio, Absolute Radio, Total Rock, HRH, RTE2, Planet Rock and Sirius XM USA.

Mixing straight talking lyrics, overdriven guitars and bucket loads of honesty, it's this mix that's seeing this indie-pop trio into editorial playlists on Apple, Deezer, Tidal & YouTube, with sell out shows including Corporation and the Leadmill in Sheffield.

The movie is made to run alongside the eagerly anticipated 'Esoteric' RPG game Lori has been working.

Gaining stellar reviews across the board, with early nods to album of the year, prepare to enter the other-worldly realms of Weekend Recovery's new album 'Esoteric'.

The movie releases following incendiary sets at Kendal Calling, Bingley, Tramlines and The Great Escape, with the band to support Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds at his Rock 'N Roll Circus in September.
