x2fast have dropped soaring pop-punk anthem, "Save You".
The Midlands quintet merge a sharp hybrid of urgent, weighty guitars and heartfelt lyricism on the track, a tip of the cap to the 90s and 00s scene, whilst delivering with an honest and unerringly grounded brand of contemporary pop-punk.
x2fast has also announced their signing to Manic Kat Records.
The new track is the sonic incarnation of "a friend in need, is a friend indeed"; showing up for those you love when it matters most at the core of the track's narrative.
Lead vocalist Nat Billings explains: “‘Save You’ means a lot to us, and we can’t wait to release it. It’s about showing up for someone when they need it most, being a source of strength, hope, and light no matter what they’re facing"
Rising from the stacked Sheffield scene, x2 fast is a high-octane pop-punk outfit breathing new life into the Midlands alternative landscape.
Known for their explosive live energy and anthemic choruses, the band blends the nostalgic, angst-ridden melodies of the early 2000s Warped Tour era with a contemporary edge and sharp production.
In spite of this, the band's resonating storytelling shines on through above all else. Relatable tales about growth, resilience and the chaotic beauty of youth bring the tracks searing through the speakers, as the band continues to pick up momentum across the UK.
January's For The Better EP showcased the band's slick hybrid of throwback and present day; driving guitars and soaring melodies underpinning tracks like "Side By Side" and "Settle Down", with the collection quickly surpassing 100k streams, with support from BBC R1 and Idobi Radio.
Causing waves beyond the UK alone, x2 fast announce their signing to New York based Manic Kat Records (Amber Pacific, When Thieves are About, Ryan Cabrera), with more new music already on the doorstep in the form of potent pop-punk anthem "Save You". The new track continues the quintet's trajectory of emphatic, heart-on-sleeve pop-punk, bursting at the seems with feeling and awash with rousing hooks.
