BONE HAUS Announce Debut Album In Mourning and Pacific Northwest Tour BONE HAUS

Boise post-punk unit BONE HAUS unveil their harrowing debut full-length In Mourning and set out on a Pacific Northwest tour this September with GOCK.

BONE HAUS have carved out a reputation in the Pacific Northwest underground through relentless performances and a sound that merges hardcore punk urgency with post-punk atmosphere. Their methodical songwriting explores dark themes of excess, destruction, and decay, giving the band a distinct presence in a crowded scene.

The group is led by Rain Marie on vocals and guitar, joined by Andre Maldonado on lead guitar, Allison Winkler on bass, and Joe Black on drums. Each member brings veteran experience, a fact reflected in the bands they’ve already shared stages with: Screaming Females, illuminati hotties, NOBRO, Niis, Kent Osbourne, Bad Waitress, The Toasters, Nox Novacula, Body Farm, Kill Michael, Miesha & the Spanks, Linda From Work, Forty Feet Tall, Lucid Lynx, Tim Cappello, King Youngblood, Sundog, and many more. Their festival appearances at Treefort Music Fest and Flipside Fest further solidified their standing as a band to watch.

The debut album In Mourning pushes their vision to new extremes. Across its tracks, the record examines what it feels like to be trapped in your own body and choices. The lyrics describe the seductive pull of substance consumption, framed as dangerous glamour that quickly collapses into ruin. The record captures the toll not only on the body but on the psyche, turning fun into corrosion.

As the album unfolds, the tone becomes increasingly suffocating. Themes of codependency and obsession with shared decay form a narrative backbone. To BONE HAUS, the horror lies not only in living through destruction but in embracing it—choosing to remain in a toxic spiral rather than break free. The result is an album as bleak as it is compelling, set in the tradition of post-punk, deathrock, and gothcore pioneers.

With In Mourning out now, BONE HAUS are taking the songs on the road this September, embarking on a Pacific Northwest run alongside tour mates GOCK. Their performances promise the same intensity that has already elevated them within the regional scene.
