After a 13-year hiatus, Chicago-based Panther Style returns with their electrifying EP “Dynasty,” embodying resilience, introspection, and a triumphant sonic evolution.

Chicago-based Panther Style is set to make waves once again with the release of their long-awaited EP, "Dynasty," marking their first collection of tracks in 13 years. Scheduled to drop on May 10 via Triple Helix Record Co., this EP promises a raw, unapologetic dive into the band's evolution and resilience.

Led by guitarist Melissa Koehl, Panther Style's journey has been one of endurance and camaraderie. The EP, recorded at Chicago's renowned Electrical Audio, reflects the band's shared experiences over nearly two decades, including personal struggles, triumphs, and the unwavering bond between its members.

Joining Koehl in for this release are Jeanne McClure on lead vocals and bass, and Dan Lutger on drums, alongside contributions from various seasoned musicians. Together, they form a formidable quartet, drawing from influences ranging from The Cult to New Order, crafting a sound that's as eclectic as it is electrifying.

At the heart of "Dynasty" lies its lead single, a brooding anthem titled "Dynasty," accompanied by a visually striking video directed by artist Yeva Dashevsky. The track delves into themes of societal disillusionment and the quest for redemption, resonating with a sense of urgency and introspection.

Amidst the EP's darker undertones, there are moments of catharsis and celebration, notably with their cover of The Cult's "Love Removal Machine." Collaborations with esteemed producers such as Greg Norman of Electrical Audio and Marshall Gallagher of Teenage Wrist have further elevated Panther Style's sonic landscape, pushing boundaries and refining their sound to new heights.

For Koehl, the journey to this release has been deeply personal, intertwining with her battle with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and her work as a physical therapist. Her resilience mirrors that of the band as a whole, symbolizing triumph over adversity and the power of music to transcend limitations.

As Panther Style prepares to unleash "Dynasty" upon the world, they invite listeners to join them on a journey of rediscovery and renewal. With a live performance scheduled in Chicago on May 11, the stage is set for a triumphant return that's been over a decade in the making.
