Runner Up Records is a record label based out of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and San Lorenzo, California. So far, the label has only released vinyl records, though there's never been an official "vinyl-only" declaration on their part. Started in the summer of 2008, bands and artists released in the first year include Shook Ones, End of a Year, Higher Giant, Dave House, Hightide Hotel, Bearings, By Surprse!, and Spraynard. Considering this early roster, the label seems to be particularly devoted to releasing solely punk rock and indie bands, similarly to Jade Tree Records.

Runner Up has apparent connections to long-running punk and ska label Asian Man Records.
