Las Vegas punk trio We Might Die are currently in the studio finishing new material, with a new single expected soon. The upcoming release builds on the momentum of their 2025 full-length Hate You, an 11-song record that marked the band as one of the most direct and emotionally charged new voices in underground punk.
Formed in 2024, We Might Die turn personal struggle into fast, cathartic punk songs built for release and connection. Their sound blends hard-hitting, confrontational energy with sharp melody, drawing from classic punk urgency and touches of hardcore bite. The songs don’t shy away from anxiety, depression, or self-doubt, instead using them as fuel for honest, hook-driven writing.
The band is fronted by bassist and vocalist Liv, whose delivery is blunt, fearless, and emotionally loaded. Her lyrics are direct and unfiltered, cutting straight to the core without losing warmth or clarity. Behind the kit is Chance, Liv’s father and a longtime scene veteran with decades of experience across punk, grindcore, and metal. His aggressive, high-energy drumming gives the band its speed and physical force. Guitarist Travis rounds out the trio, bringing intricate riff work, dynamic arrangements, and thoughtful lyrics that deepen the band’s sound without overcomplicating it.
Despite their short lifespan, We Might Die have already made a strong impression live. They’ve opened for Catbite and performed the official Punk Rock Bowling Kickoff Show, holding their own alongside established acts. Many are surprised to learn that Liv is just 15 years old and that both Liv and Travis have only been playing guitar for five years, yet their performances carry confidence and control well beyond their experience.
With Hate You already out and new music on the way, We Might Die are pushing forward with a packed run of tour dates across the West. Their shows are fast, loud, and emotionally charged, reinforcing the band’s belief in punk as a space for honesty, confrontation, and community. As they continue to write, tour, and grow, We Might Die are proving that urgency and authenticity still sit at the heart of modern punk.
