Kim Gordon of the now-defunct indie rock band Sonic Youth joins forces with Tomorrows Tulips Alex Knost for Glitterbust.

Kim Gordon of the now-broken up, influential and experimental indie rock band Sonic Youth has taken up musically with Alex Knost of Tomorrows Tulips (and Japanese Motors) and formed another indie rock entity called Glitterbust.  Gordon and Knost's new joint venture will bow as a s/t album March 4th on Burger Records. 

Glitterbust has dropped its first single titled "The Highline" and you can feast your ears on all 9 minutes and 6 seconds of it below.  As to be expected, it's skewed, menacing, and calm to noisy, with angular to prolonged smoldering to cavernous guitar distortion and dispassionate, hushed vocals:
