COURTNEY LOVE has reformed her band HOLE and is busy in the studio recording new tracks. Well, let me clarify that the "reformation" of HOLE doesn't include original guitarist Eric Erlandson who has been replaced by Miko Larkin, from Larkin Love and original bass player Melissa Auf Der Maur turns up only to lay down some backing vocals. Love is planning a single for January and an album for mid-2010.
The band was originally formed in Los Angeles back in '89 and their most critically acclaimed album, Live Through This, was released just days after Kurt Cobain's apparent suicide in 1994. The recently widowed "Love" threw herself into Hole following the suicide. The band released one other notable album 'Celebrity Skin' and stayed together until 2002.
