Fat Wreck Chords’ entire catalog just got a lot more affordable.

The label revealed that virtually every CD in its catalog will sell for less than $10, and the majority are priced at less than $8. It's not a short-term liquidation sale, but a transfer back to the old punk-rock pricing of the good old days.

"No, we are not crazy," label head Fat Mike Burkett said in a statement. "We just think that having a very low CD price is a fair way for scene supporting music fans to support their favorite independent bands and labels. Sound crazy? I think it sounds reasonable. We make less profit, but bands hopefully will sell more CDs to more people, which is why we started doing this in the first place."
