The free show from the Dayton, OH rock band follows a recent split with punk cellist Gordon Withers.

Dayton, Ohio’s premier steadfast rock band The 1984 Draft will be livestreaming a free performance this coming Saturday, July 24th via Trojan City Limits.

The 1984 Draft recently released a split with acclaimed punk cellist Gordon Withers via Poptek Records, with all profits from their single “Honest” going to the NAACP Legal Defense Fund.

Joe Andrl (vocals, guitar), Eli Alban (guitar), Chip Heck (bass), and Justin Satinover (drums) have dropped a bunch of records over the past few years, including 2020’s “Destination Breakdown” 2-song single via Poptek Records. Previous LP Makes Good Choices arrived in 2018 by the same record label.

The band have supported like-minded acts and artists including Radar State, Haymarket Riot, Hawthorne Heights, Chris Conley (Saves The Day), Vinnie Caruana (The Movielife), Anthony Raneri (Bayside), Geoff Rickly and (Thursday).
