The Subject
I happened to catch these guys at a Destroy All Music Sunday afternoon gig a couple of months ago. Instantly, I recognized these guys have something special. Call it the singer's, Nathan, intense channeling of enormous energy or the guitarist's, Martin, inspired, nonchalant playing, I don't know, but you've absolutely got to see these guys play. And this is not to downplay the bitchen rhythm section's contributions (Dan - bass, Lou - drums). The passionate music harks to the good old Oi of Cock Sparrer or The Strike. Songs about working class struggle and strife always gets my blood pumping and if that music does the same to you, go out and catch these guys playing the local Los Angeles scene. No disappointments here!
