The Canadian metalcore band recorded their upcoming 7th LP with renowned Will Putney.

Canadian melodic hardcore/metalcore outfit Counterparts have been at it since 2007, creating dynamic, slammin’, and raging albums and touring all over the globe.

Their upcoming album, A Eulogy For Those Still Here, sees the band working with their longtime producer and engineer, the acclaimed Will Putney (Every Time I Die, Knocked Loose).

A Eulogy For Those Still Here, coming out October 7th, via Pure Noise Records, is their 7th full length and was recorded at Graphic Nature Audio.

When contemplating how much material they’ve already put out, vocalist Brendan Murphy comments, “I started to think about what it would be like to write a record as if it would be our last, to try and make something that I knew I would be satisfied with if it was.”

Counterparts have dropped their new single, Whispers of Your Death,” which opens the album with an explosive hardcore charge. The accompanying music video, however, it, ummm, cat-tastically laid-back!
